Our History

Home Works Remodeling, Inc. was founded in the year 2000. The company has its origin through Vinyl Master Doors and Windows Inc. which started in 1996, manufacturing replacement vinyl windows and doors.

Our president Mr. Satish Satpute who has over 30 years of business experience and a masters degree in industrial engineering. He formally owned InfoPlanet Voice and Data Inc. He went from one to eight retail mall stores. Prior to that, he owned an Aerospace business, Calaine Enterprises, Inc; that manufactured airplane parts for Boeing, McDonnell Douglas, Rohr etc. Before that, he founded Saga Plexicraft Inc. manufacturing plexiglas gift articles, store displays and custom furniture in 1975. In 2004, Anand Mahajani joined the company and took business to the higher level. He has his Masters degree in electrical engineering. His expertise is in system design and automation. He implemented ERP and Lean manufacturing at Vinyl Masters. He is the Vice President of Operations.

Utilizing Satish’s background and Anand’s expertise and their direction to real client focus, commitment to Constant and Never ending Improvements, belief in having the right people on the bus in the right seat and the wrong people off the bus, ambition to become and make all managers into team leaders will take the company from “Good to Great”.

Satish's direction for Home Works was driven by superior products. After acquiring the company he discontinued inferior vinyl extrusion and in-house lamination of wood veneer. Instead, introduced one of the highest quality vinyl extruders in the world, Deceuninck North America. With relentless drive and the worlds best vinyl a successful business plan had been achieved. Vinyl Master has developed a reputation for doing very custom, complex and challenging jobs in the San Diego market, such as;

• Extra large, over 50 sq ft windows to see the beautiful ocean view with the protection from heat, cold, UV rays, sound, and protection from security,
• 3D, extra large windows with complex angles,
• Up to eight panel extra long windows and high doors,
• Tiny awning window which can open and be installed between existing studs,

This drive has resulted in Vinyl Master manufacturer and installer of one of the highest quality, innovative, custom vinyl windows and doors in the fenestration industry at attractive prices.
